About XtraSpace
In short
XtraSpace is an online marketplace, run from Powai in Mumbai and Indiranagar in Bengaluru, that lets owners earn from the hours their studios, offices, halls and other spaces sit empty, and lets anyone book those spaces by the hour. XtraSpace connects hosts and guests; it does not own or manage the spaces listed.
Welcome to XtraSpace! We are a dynamic marketplace designed to solve a simple problem: there are too many beautiful spaces sitting idle for hours every day, while creators, freelancers, and businesses search endlessly for affordable short-term locations.
Our Mission
To transform unused time in existing spaces into powerful streams of income for hosts, while democratizing access to professional environments for everyone else. Whether it's an empty dance studio on a Tuesday morning or a school courtyard on a Sunday, XtraSpace connects the right people to the right place.
What XtraSpace does
- For hosts: list a studio, office, hall, classroom, café, rooftop or any other space for free, set your own hourly, daily, weekly or monthly rate, mark the hours it is free, and approve every booking request yourself.
- For guests: find a space by city, category, date, guests and distance, see the rate before you ask, send a request or your own offer, and check in with a code when the host approves.
- What we are not: XtraSpace does not own, run or manage any listed space; the host is responsible for it. XtraSpace is not related to the self-storage companies called XtraSpace or Xtra Space in South Africa and the United Kingdom.
